SPOILERS: CRAP COMIC ...CLEARLY!!! Um i obviously had a great deal of issues with the new harry potter movie.... i dunno what the hell they were doing.. this book being my second favorite in the series I expected this to be an awesome movie! But.. some stupid screen writer or someone decided to butcher it.. by leaving out MASSIVE stuff.. and then the stuff they did leave in they changed!! like what the hell.. And poor Lupin.. how i love him! he was in the movie with one line.. and probably 35 seconds in total..... where was he in the beginning!? it's not like he hadn't been hired for the movie!? and then Sirius stole his fight scene at the end with Lucius! WELL MAYBE NOW THAT HE'S DEAD HE'LL STOP STEALING LUPIN'S SCENES!.. though.. I do have to say as much as this movie pissed me off Umbridge and the twins were awesome as usual, thank god the death eater clan outfits are gone!, along with Snape who probably claimed one of my favorite scenes.. "Obviously..."
I just got back from the movie too, and while there were some really cool parts of it (like the Weasley twins, who I wish were in there more, and Umbridge, who is evil shiat with as big of an erotic obsession with cats and the color pink as much as Filch, her apparent bitch in the movie), I have to say that some parts in it were kinda disappointing. And odd.
It wasn't bad, just... different is the word. I guess they were just focusing on the more 'emotional' side of the story... though I do miss the 'Weasley is Our King' thing. Shame. Maybe it'll resurface in the sixth book.
I still think we were cheated from major Potter Meltdown, though.
omg i totally agree iwth everything you said. This being my favorite book, all the changes really pissed me off!
Apparently tho, Quidditch WILL be in Half-Blood Prince, but thats only a rumor so im not sure. I hope it is... its my favorite.
And you forgot to mentio n the Quibler interview... which was amazing in the book.
The movie was also choppy but Umbridge and Luna were amazing, and Luna, being my favorite character, saved me from completely hating the movie.
Anyways... good job!!

I love you for this and agree with you concerning SO many things.
Also, scene with Li'l Snape--TOO SHORT, ARGH.
MMKAY, about the guys arriving at the Dept. of Mysteries on the thestrals...OKAY, how the heck could they all ride if you can only see the thestrals whether or not you have witnessed a death? I mean-I just-I...I...O_o
I must say, though, I totally loved the latter half of the battle...Mainly the whole stereotypical white=good, black=bad; that being when one of the peeps from the Order and a Deatheater were all misty and spiraling together...MMMAWESOME. 8D
Haha. Funny. I agree a lot...and yet...I actually think this movie was better directed than the last two. I think the changes that were made were mostly necessary to convey the main plot of the book, and eventually didn't leave as many loose ends/random things that had nothing to do with anything as the last two films.
Ha this is great. I saw the movie and was soooooo disappointed. I could go remake the movie with fingerpuppets and glitter and it'd still be much better, I'm sure.
WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED???

ahah omg despite the issues i had with the movie i have to say i loved umbridge and her damn kitten plates ahahah! Made me think of my crazy cat-loving room mate lol. She was done very well and i loved when she was interrogating Snape
The third and fourth movies left out too much for me to really enjoy them, I'm kind of scared of seeing Phoenix now....O_O;
OMG. They left out the brains? THE BRAINS???! I was actually looking forward to that, too, 'cause it creeped me out in the book!
Aww, I love how you draw Lupin, he's so adorable! *hugs*
I'm sorry if i spoiled the movie if you haven't seen it yet.. BUT THEY DID LEAVE OUT THAT WHOLE THING.. no brains.. i was so looking forward to that.. they are all like oo we have to go to the department of mysteries and then.. they're.. like there already
